In reality, it was 16 months from contract signing to completing – still pretty fast! Northwester 2 was the third time we (together with Bladt Industries and ISC) delivered a complete substation to the developer Parkwind. In 2013, the Northwind substation was delivered and only three years later, Bligh Bank – both projects as EPCI contracts. The wind farm is being installed about 46 km off the Belgian coast and will have a total installed capacity of 219 MW.

For our projects, we also design and deliver all necessary electrical systems, including:
  • High, medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, HVAC, diesel gensets, UPS and cables
  • Fire protection, including systems for detecting and fighting fire
  • Communications equipment such as, CCTV, PA/PC, telephone lines and LAN networks.
